Remember I told you about the guy that wanted to buy the little house we have to sell and that he said he was going to buy down Mt Gambier because houses were cheaper down there and he's get the same rent? well he came back to the land agent and offered a stupid price some $50k below asking price.. The agent told him he wouldn't even entertain putting that offer to us as it was so rediclous.. This bloke wants the place but not for any money.. Lucky he didn't make that offer to me

Dot,
I know you wont like this, but with real estate a cheeky offer is usually just a taster..they want to see if you will bend the price a lot or only a little. Do stand your guard and refuse to play his games. I do hope he is serious and makes you a decent offer soon. Then you really can party.

Hi Deborah, the real estate knows our lowest price and he also knows because I told him from the get go that he is not to pee us around, I reckon he knows where he stands with me especially  He was also told not to come back with offers below a certain price just wasting his and our time.. No one in their right mind would drop that much, he wants Mt Gambier real estate prices for here and it just don't work like that.. It will now go on the internet etc.. It will sell it's a nice place in the township and also has a history. It was the original butter factory managers cottage... The right buyer will come along in the not to distant future, I feel it in my bones, aching bones at that..

With the piss..istant rain that we are having at the mo, my bones are hurting too. But yes, Dot, I know that place will sell at the price you want it. I actually feel that once on the net, you may have 2 buyers who will haggle over the price and you wil be more than happy with the final price. Just a feeling.... :o
Take care and be patient, you will succeed. Oh yeah, the saying is ..nothing succeeds like success. May you have lots of success and sunshine. ;)

Dot start a petition to get all the good ones back.Thing like Love thy neighbour. Terrific comedy. At least at Whitfield it can all go out the door.

Can you bring a copy to Whitfield please Dottie? I loved that show, along with Not the Nine O'clock News, there was some really funny stuff on that. saw a few of the old Mavis Bramton Show a while back, they were all so young but it's still side splitting funny.
