Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Snooze awake snooze asleep etc but I have managed to keep the peepers open for the last of the riders in the time trials . Have even got some rain. HTFFBO is doing better and so came in for a cuppa this arvo. Another wonder pill crushed and downed ready for a good nights sleep. Deborah I do hear that there is some sort of festival happening at Gemtree next July, you should go there never know who you may run into. Goodnight everyone, x :) Goodnight Toolman x :)

Keep up the resting and more resting Dot, best way to heal now. xxxx

Today we pretended to be tourists, after a very late sleep in. We visited John Murray's art gallery and were very surprised at how lovely it looks after being burnt to the ground last year. His work is always changing and gets better with each visit. We did a bit of a reccy at the other caravan parks in town. We may defect since they stuffed up my booking here and were very ungracious about it. Then we returned to the park for the nightly performance of their resident poets (Mel and Suzy). We had a good laugh and then made a pizza for tea. This park has a pizza oven for guests use, so it was good to give it a try, and not too bad either.

I need an early-ish night before heading North tomorrow morning, so nighty night all xxx

Nice try Dot, not happening at Gemtree though. Hope you get some icypoles to help that sunburnt throat xxxxx

Today we went to the opposition caravan park and booked there for next year. It seemed like the right thing to do. Instead of whining about lousy service, just don't return to the opal caravan park. The ridge is still a fun place to have a stall and the other traders and miners are all characters, so it was an easy decision to return next year. Money isn't always our only incentive to visit.

After an early start, we arrived in Roma for smoko. It seems that the nights are going to be just as cold as the ridge was. So the little heater is pumping out heat and we will stay in bed for a long snooze tomorrow. We booked here for three nights, as we like Roma. It has a good vibe here.

I need to shut my eyes now, so nighty night one and all xxx

I am waiting for one of the drugs to kick in but so far 2 loads of washing done seems like nothing is going to work on the ulcers. The best thing I have used so far is a mouth wash with bi carb and warm water, water even stings like stinging nettles. Time anyway to hit the sheets as Gman keeps pottering out to see what I am doing and offering me more drugs. Just had a real bit gust of wind and some rain so garden is happy. So goodnight everyone x :) Goodnight Goingbush where ever you are these days x :)

Bob, if you come in early-ish wear your woollies. Mornings here are blooming cold. xx

Dot, stay sane mate xxxx

Had a chill out day today in Roma. Slept in very late, read some stuff, did the washing, did a small grocery shop and cooked some fresh chooken breasts for dinner. Tomorrow looks like being more of the same. Probably do some op shops, but not a lot that we want to do here except re-boot and get ready for some more travel soon.

doing nothing is just as tiring as doing something.... just saying.

oh well, off for that ugly sleep again,
night night you lot xxx

Methinks you are running ahead of us bob r , we are starting out from Roma tomorrow and will probably be at Injune or Rollston tomorrow night. Will wave of we see you    Does this mean that you are heading for Gemfest this year?

Dotty, think ice cubes melting down that poor parched throat. xxxxx

Op shop that I thought we would visit was closed (bumma) but then we found a proper vinnies. So donated a few books that are already read and bought a few more to keep my mind alive. One called "growing old outrageously" looks interesting, but I reckon I should have been a co-author of that one. ;) ;) ;)

Did some washing of clothes, sheets and inside caravan to make the next slab of our trip a bit cleaner and basically chilled for the rest of the day.

going to warm the tootsies now, so nighty night one and all xxx
