Friend of ours up here has just had her face mask made - brain tumours.When finished with she os going to use it for flower plants!

I hope that she is planning on planting cacti in it! After such a prickly experience.

Today's excitement was trying to fill some vital prescriptions. First chemist took over an hour and half to give me the drugs, but then announced " we dont have this drug in stock, so I have done all the paperwork, just take this paper down to the other end of town and they will give you the drug asap." We should have watched the pigs flying. After we found the shop in another centre, we then had to wait another twenty minutes before the script was filled. Truly, I would never tolerate that sort of crap if I lived here. The premises of service or efficiency are not really very obvious to this chemist.

Went to city today to see HTFFBO stepdaughter and Pauls daughter married, I have seen this girl grow up from a nice little girl to a radiant young woman embark on the next adventure of her life. Simple and short service and the whole thing was very pleasant. We didn't stay for reception as there was no way I could have lasted too long. Helen was her usual bubbly jovial running around like a headless chook making sure all was right in the world of wedding, bet she will be knackered out for sure but she was warned to be have, yeah yeah yeah OK time for bed once again, goodnight everyone x goodnight Helen (HTFFBO)

Here in sunny Emerald the day has been one of domesticity and bliss. I cleaned the living quarters ab=nd the spent the day relaxing. Very hard to take all this bliss.

HTFFBO arrived home this morning and I knew she would be trashed, yep the poor ol gal is a bit down but she had a great time wiggling bits that have not wiggled for years (her words) And so it is time for more pills and to bed so goodnight WayneP x yes I shall rest but it is driving me even crazier and so Goodnight everyone x

Dot, just go with the relaxing by pill power. Let the pills take away your pain and sleep it all away...do surface occasionally for pee breaks, but why bother with anything else? xxxx

was domesticated again today. Shopped for food and then cooked up a huge chooken stir fry and froze half of it to be a meal for the coming nights. Tomorrow we move off for a long drive...well 40klms, to Anakie. We try to get there before the other traders, to make sure that we get our caravan site, where we have already booked. We have had our site stolen before, so make sure to get ourselves in before the rabble now.

I am off to get an early night, in preparation for moving day tomorrow.

Seems I am beating the Deborah to the cot tonight to say goodnight everyone x ) I am knackered tonight due to HTFFBO making me get up early to see them off. It is just the right sort of weather to snuggle up under the doona as it is raining and strong winds are a blowing. Goodnight Terry x
