Good to see that you are having some real food at last young lady. Keep adding the fancy honey please. xxxx
We had a long drive to Bonny Hills, stopping along the way at Nabiac pub for a yummo lunch. We ate so much for our $10 lunches that a piece of toast was enough for tea. Traffic was very thick, as if it was the start of school holidays (which it is not) and it rained for most of the trip. It is so cold n windy here, it is hard to believe that we actually drove North for over 4 hours to get here. Oh well the warm bed is calling to thaw me out,
so sleep tight you lot, night night xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
G did the dismantling job today I wasn't all that "up to going anywhere" funny thing was when he got home he said the cops had pulled him over for a breath test
(he has never had booze in his life) anyway the nice copper pointed out to G that the trailer needed to have this and that plus not a hand painted number plate
then told him to have a nice day
They are out there.
I spent the day doing the last minute cleaning and food placement in the bus ready for our departure tomorrow after seeing the tongue surgeon (might get some info may not) Just heading out of town for a couple of nights for a change of scenery. Deborah I did what you said ages ago about a queen electric blanket would be ok for the bus's double, I got one and so we may get to try it out in the next days. Time to hit the sack so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, we have found that the latest queen blanket likes to slip down the bed a lot. So I have used some very naughty large, safety pins to hold the ends of the blanket (well away from any wiring) onto the end of the mattress. They are not on the top of the mattress, so I reckon they will be safe. We slept really well with it last night. Have a great escape weekend mate xxxx
had lots of hugs from the jayco mob, who we haven't seen since June and some even earlier. It was a lovely day, sun was shining, all that stuff. Then we had delicious dinner at the local bowlo. Noe it's off to the land of nod and a warm bed too.
good night everyone xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
What a disappointment of a so called big farmers market, bought not one thing. Plenty of stalls, food, ice cream, plants by the thousands and all from nurseries, the fresh food from the farmers was nearly twice the price of the supermarkets and it was looking a tad "tired" lots of rusty sculpture things, bric a brac , and stuff like that. Hmm last one for me. Great warm sunny day though but the cold is creeping in now. I even walked over 2ks today and found 5cents
I am a bit tired from walking in the fresh air so goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Sorry that you found a crappy farmers market Dot. They are a bit hit n miss. Some of the "farmers" seem to do their farming from the bins at the fruit markets, but then some of the farmers are fair dinkum.
It's just difficult to know which markets are going to be the real deal anymore. We did really well at the ones around Byron Bay, so you can never know what to expect. The one near our home is a rip off market, so can imagine what you found. XXXX
Sorry, I missed you all last night.
I had absolutely no internet connectivity at all. In the same place tonight, the weather is the same and using the same equipment, and I am here talking to you lot. I just dont understand this techy stuff, but when it's good, it's very good and there's no curl in it's forehead!
Today we sat in the van, watching out to sea and saw whales dancing. It was amazing and we didn't have to leave our van or pay ridiculous prices for a whale cruise to experience it. We have had a great weekend of frivolity with our mob and now I am needing some sleep,
so goodnight one and all xxx

Mr Russell is still asleep in the bedroom. I am awake early because the black cat next door has had a noisy visitor.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, stay warm in that warmed bed, just what you need. xxxx
After chilly nights at Port Macquarie, we are back to Lake Macquarie and it's bloomin freezin. We have had the air con on to heat tonight, and that is such a rare occurrence here, we certainly didn't need to heat the house last week. Anyways, we arrived home in the pouring rain, unpacked the van between showers and are now wondering why we rushed home.
Stay warm everyone, goodnight from me xxx
