Helen, it was the Craftathon, which has been running for the last 20 years. It has been in the Golf Club for the last few years (sorry they call it Club Taree, but its really the golf club)'. The markets at showgrounds is still running and seemed to be very busy, when we drove passed there yesterday morning.

We had an uneventful drive home today, but I am so tired. So off to bed now,

Dot, George knows that he has to return to good ole Newcastle. You can take him from Newcastle but he will always belong to Newcastle. Hey George? I say the same about the lake. We left and lived in the city for 30 years, but always we knew that we would retire to the same lake, and here we are, right on Lake Macquarie, where I grew up... just twenty minutes South of that town, but still on the lake. Stay sane Dot xxxx

Had an administrivia day today. I wrote a submission to the epa regarding the licences that expire for our power stations (Eraring and Vales Point). The licences let the power companies pollute at extremely high levels of chemical stuffs. So today, I put on my greeny hat and wrote the submission, then I sent a copy to as many pollies that I could think would be involved or interested. I didn't even know about a mob called Environmental Justices Organisation, they have taught me a lot and are all about helping us to clean up the environment. So it's all good here.

Gees Dot, You are a brave one. They have to knock me out if they are going to hunt for my brain. Even the MRI on my knee was a close call for the claustrophobic dragonlady. Hope the results are great xxxx

Spent today staying out of the winds and all the filth that came with them. Poor old Broken Hill has just sent us all their top soil. It's a shame that we can't bag it all up and send it back to them.
