Phone app

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

No matter how well intentioned the legislation is, or how many safeguards the govt puts in place with data from COVIDsafe, a cock-up is sure to result in someone getting their hands on data they shouldn't see.

When it happens (not 'if') it is entirely possible... nay, probable that the recipient will be able to take financial advantage of the data.
Another view of Ockham's Razor https://www.britannica.com/topic/Occams-razor is the simplest answer is the one most often adopted if you add in the theory of economies principle, the quickest and easiest answer is close enough, looking deeper into the facts takes time and energy few are willing to devote to the question.
A lot of clinical research suffers from this problem these days, a company will fund research into getting the answer they want and rather than that being challenged due to the costs involved with an independent trial and evaluation, these finding are accepted as fact unless proven otherwise.

Son-&-Heir has a drone.
Broadcast quality camera on board.
I don’t think he’s snooping on his neighbours. 😳
Did us a great aerial pic of our house, though.
Showed the difference we’ve made in six-and-a-bit years...😀
(Real Estate Agent had an aerial shot in the ad. We got a print.)
And before you ask, no, I’m not putting them up here.
Regards & God bless,

Why would anyone be so afraid to give out there name and maybe location, I think that you people are looking at the negative side of a very good use of the technology that we have with us. What do you have to hide.

If this app is all good and no bad, why is the govt refusing to release the source code and ignoring all the advice from the general public/techno-nerds about holes in the code that allow for third party activity tracing? If the govt want us to trust them then they have to be open and transparent and they are being far from that at the moment.

I don't believe the heavy handed push to get everyone to down load the app is being productive, rather it will create push back. The govt aren't naive enough to think they could force it out on a system update because that would trigger the push back to develop a blocking app or even a virus app that would collapse their whole system.
Back off, let people decide on their own terms or the resistance will become so ingrained that it will blind those opposing it to rational thinking .... much like rusted on political believers who can see no wrong occurring on their side and no right occurring on the other sides.
Thankfully the rusted on political believers are a diminishing group, so many sure thing seats are now swinging seats and the prediction machines seem to get it wrong more often than they get it right lately.
The day of the voter sheep is over, people can't be herded in the desired direction anymore, unless we get people who can lead again we will end up like so many other countries where the disunity exceeds the framework of government, no one gets a majority rule

We need another Statesman to actually lead the country, no idea if such a thing still exists but we desperately need leadership from someone who puts the good of the country and its citizens before their own political ambitions and future earning potential.
There was a short term belief that Turnbull might have stepped up to the plate, but sadly that didn't happen, I can't see any on the horizon at the moment
