Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

On the way home from the second trip to the eyes specialist, spotted a rear window sticker that put everything back into the correct level of importance "..... but did you die?" The great litmus test to see if you are just complaining about a first world problem ......

I was quite prepared for growing old.
I just didn’t expect it to happen so quickly!

Ray, One day, time will get us all. Let's just enjoy whatever we have left. Like a lot of our members, my brain still thinks I am thirty five, but in reality it is the no longer functional bits of our bodies that brings everything back to reality.
but I reckon that you already knew that.
Cheers

An English Professor wrote on the blackboard,
"A woman without her man is nothing."
and asked the students to punctuate the sentence.

The males in the class wrote,
"A woman, without her man, is nothing."

And the females in the class wrote,
"A woman: without her, man is nothing."

Never underestimate the power of punctuation!

 I didn't expect to live long enough for age to be a factor in my long term health, in fact I was amazed when I turned 30, mates were amazed that I reached 40 .... and I'll be really amazed if I ever reach the age I qualify for a pension  At the moment that's another 6 mths and 6 days .... if they don't move the goal posts again or scrap it all together due to financial restraints

Ditto, T1,
Except my number was 47...
And I did live long enough to get the pension!
