Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Fact.
Jut as there are lots of MEN who have been abused by women...
You don’t see rallies of men with placards saying “All women are abusers”.
There is literally NOWHERE for a male victim of abuse to get help.
Personal experience, via son. We tried everywhere for him too.

I expect it would also be unlikely to find statics regarding female physical and mental abusers that resulted in the partner committing or attempting to commit suicide ..... lost a good friend to just that situation, managed to talk a customer into taking his 3 children and getting away from his abusive wife because I could see him going down the same path and having gently yet firmly intervene and get my daughter out of a toxic relationship with a tranny female, a nice bloke when he was Jon, an absolute manipulative two faced bitch as Jody .....

Agreed Ron, this is organised protesting for the sake of disruption rather than fighting for a cause ..... I do see the need to balance the equality gap, but from both sides, it's not all one way traffic. There are a lot of blokes out there that make a lot better primary care givers than the female partner in the relationship, they need support too so they can take on that role and send the female in the relationship out into the big wide world and become the bread winner ...... it shouldn't be all one way traffic for a female to go out and get herself pregnant to ensure an income and child support, the male involved should get equal opportunity to become the primary care giver and demand child support from the female party ....... the stats on that are appalling .......

Absolutely no abuse, either physically or mentally, is acceptable in any relationship, workplace or in society in general ... now there is a cause to get behind .... bet it won't gather the same momentum as this latest one has ......

Dismissing rallies like this as a renta crowd is once again minimising the issue.
Sex for services rendered is not a rape and is a red herring.
Using abusive women as an argument for justifying poor behaviour towards them doesnt make it right either.
Anyway,
I am done. I resign or whatever
I am out.

Women like to discuss it all with their circle, then feel better about it.
Neither of these ways of handling any problem has changed for millennia.

Sex for services rendered is not a rape and is a red herring. It's actually quite demeaning for both the offered and offerer
Using abusive women as an argument for justifying poor behaviour towards them doesnt make it right either. Same as for men , same as for women.

This is getting to be quite a nuisance, all this quitting.
So not everyone doesn't see it all your way, whatever the subject, but no need to take bat and ball and storm away, if you have a point stand and argue it, you will never convince the opponent their wrong, but they just might see where you're coming from.

Abuse mentally or physically will NEVER end no matter how many rallies are held. Too many rallies and not enough action by any of the marchers. Same old saying, "If you want change then do it". There is a mens abuse group but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. Look at the "equal pay" marches etc many yrs ago and today nothing has changed. Why? As far as taking the bat and ball and getting out a here that is to me the attitude of the marchers. Stand up for YOUR beliefs but remember to be mature enough to respect others and THEIR views.

A maths question for todays Thought for the day.
If George is 68 and his girlfriend is 22, how much money does George have?
