Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful day in paradise coming up. Looks like you might have started something Bob. After I finished mowing the grass I didn't get much done either. Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Morning folks second arising today, certainly needed the coffee. Another cold day with showers but may see daylight around noon.

Nothing planned except this headcold which is part of the vaccine I believe. Take care cheers Robert

Heading off to Gawler to do this off grid install using their tired electric vehicle battery reconfigured into a 24v battery. It only has 60% capacity at the moment, but with the much lighter load on each cell now it should recover some more over time ..... yet to see if this is the case. I've been delaying this job for over 6 mths because we were either flat out at the workshop, away at Taggerty or recovering from the cold Margaret shared with me when we returned from our last trip ...... still don't have any enthusiasm to do the job even now, but best to get it over and done with I suppose ...... just have this niggling feeling it will come back to bite us even if it's not our fault if the batteries don't recover ... or get worse.

I read this thread each morning. I just never post as that would require me to be able to string words together that make sense at that hour. Not likely.

But it's the hours that people post that has me intrigued.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but basically we're all a bunch of old farts here either retired or trying to retire.
What in the world therefore would have anyone getting up at these hours?

Today on the 13th, the first post was at 5:16 AM. followed very quickly at 5:21 AM. Then 6:32 AM and 7:59 AM

7:59 AM is a reasonable hour to get up to use the toilet I suppose but barely and then straight back to bed please.

Then...... finally.......from our illustrious host.... a sensible time. 10:12 AM

Apart from the shock of discovering times like these actually occur twice a day, (A fact I had successfully forgotten) I'm intrigued to know why anyone would voluntarily get out of bed at these times.
I'm clearly missing something.

Morning Jim.
I've been a early riser all my life, so to me it's normal.
But I'm also a early to bed... most times by 8.30 pm
I do get out of bed at 4.30am...but I look at other forums I belong to before here.

I guess some people were up early their whole life so hard to change just because you aren't being paid to be up early  I still wake up at between 2:30 am and 3 am because that was the time I had to get up to beat the traffic to get to the job out back of Liverpool by 6:30 am, any later than that and I would get there till 8 am having spent 2 hrs on the Liverpool carpark/expressway.
No hope of me getting out of bed at that hr, but no hope of going strat back to sleep either, so I read my book on my smart phone till the words get all jumbled, then back to sleep till 8:30 or 9 am if I'm lucky  But then if I'm in bed before 11pm I'm either sick or end up reading my book until midnight anyway .....
