Re: Robert’s Cooking
Hmmm..... not sure about the order of priority there Robert, mine is caffeine and something to eat as an optional extra

Don't blame her, cereal wrecks good coffee .... won't even use the instant stuff for that and it wasn't real good to start withRobertNotBob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 2:46 pm Wife gets upset when I use my coffee instead of milk on my cereal Terry

Re: Robert’s Cooking
When we were in the NT and Qld quail was a regular meal for us and very tasty. Bought some from the Flagstaff Hill Foodland and cooked them up last night. Marinated in a simple lemon juice, olive oil and thyme for a couple of hours then onto a hot plate and grill. Tasted great with a fresh salad.
Will certainly be having them again soon. May try them over charcoal in the fire pit next time as long as it is a bit warmer outside. Robert

On one of the Hard Quiz repeats, there was a contestant with their specialist subject, guinea pigs, and there were a few photos of them butterflied and roasted, apprently a delicacy some where or another .... they did look tasty

GP’s are eaten in a couple of South American countries but they are a large breed near double the size of our pet ones. Only eaten on special occasions
