Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Ray, I would suggest that perhaps your SiL is a Melbourne supporter. They are playing Footscray (the Western Bulldogs) in the AFL Grand Final on Sat. Surely it's been in the news down there. The long suffering locked down masses in Melb need some sort of a distraction from the wafflings of Chairman Dan.
Cheers

Would that explain why at this time of year she has a wardrobe which seems to consist of only red & blue stripes? Beanie, scarf, even a skirt!
I always thought she just has peculiar tastes in clothes…
Might it also explain why she’s often grumpy on a Sunday?

If she is a bit sad on Sunday, just remind her that 'there is always next year'. That seems to be the mantra of all the beaten teams, come finals time.
I've been using that phrase for a few months now, since it became obvious the mighty Tigers weren't going to make it this year.

These days when Chairman Dan appears on the TV, and when the sports announcer appears, I scramble for the ‘Shut-Up’ button on the remote. Occasionally the cleverd!cks insert some foopball stuff into the proper news… cunning b@stards. (Happening as I type this!)
I try not to listen, as the only ball-chasing I enjoy is when I throw one for the dog to chase.
Regards & God bless,

I'm waiting for someone to write a musical score to the "Field Ballet," it would help them keep up with the pace rather than having to stop every time someone catches the ball .... it must be to find out where they are up to so they can all take there places .... because they never seem to applaud the fact someone actually manged to catch it ...... Would the four acts be all the same theme or each one be at a different tempo?

I hope that ball game is now over.
To change the subject:
Have you ever thought that the sock you lost in the dryer is likely to turn up as a Tupperware lid that doesn’t fit any of your containers.
It's on in Perth Ray, they'd only be have lunch about now We are going to the club for dinner with Helen & Paul, Bruce and Wendy, Brian, Margaret and myself, so no doubt the field ballet will be on the big screen .... might have to be careful about putting too much crap on the field antics, might get in blue or something Paul says he is going to explain the game to me while we watch .... that should be good for a laugh all on its own especially if someone gets tackled and goes off with the bruised ego or something .......
