Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Terry, that "pasta" looks like the bits would make great screw anchors. They look like some sort of Chinese culinary innovation which might need to be boiled until tender.

T1,

The Italians call it "Plaster Pasta".

The English name for them is "Anchor 2 Plasta".

Isn't that the Pasta you eat with Cockatoo stew ?
When the Cockatoo is edible that pasta will be just right .
I've been told that even stones have softened before a stewed Cockatoo, but I think that's just a Furphy as told by the old timers.

I've heard it works with octopus as well, no need to find that perfect rock, this anchor pasta works with both cockatoo and octopus so a must have in the pantry cupboard .... or the tool box if the cook is fussy about what goes in her pantry

Maybe George can cook up an anchor pasta calamari using fresh octopus for the master chef spoon this yr at Taggerty ...... if he can get them soft and tasty it will be a sure fire winner dinner 8-)

Japanese toast bread is just magnificent. Thick, super soft and has a magic flavour.
Even better when spread with butter and honey.
Had to go to that shop on Saturday. I'm replacing a fence and ran out of post-holes. Bought a bag of 'em, really cheap! :? 8-)

Good move Ray.

If you buy lots, they'll give you the discounted sale price. But, sometimes you need to ask for the wholesale price.
