Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

What can you expect from the field ballet mob, this same bloke is suspended or what ever they call it for head butting another player ..... so much for the lack of violence and good roll models for the younger ones coming up through the grades  What was the nose candy he was snorting anyway? It's not like it could make him any more brain dead

No doubt very few here watched the first state or origin NRL game and not watch the second one being held in Perth later this month. If field ballet is so good, why don't they have a state of origin as well? I guess trying to get that many egos to play as a team would be a bridge too far eh ;)

Even though he is playing the better game (field ballet as you call it) he is a bad influence for the younger generation and any one who displays bad antics like headbutting and taking drugs need a one way ticket out the front door to stop other fools from doing the same thing. I have met some footballers over the years through my work and some of them I feel don't have much between the ears and wouldn't understand the problem.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what sport is in the headlines for using illegal drugs, it sets a really bad example for the next generation of sports stars that are watching everything that is happening. I reckon just about everyone that reads these pages would know of at least one family that has been destroyed by illicit drug use. The sports administrators all seem to want to brush it under the carpet and 'resume normal programming'. It's all about the power of the almighty dollar, especially the high end sponsors dollar. I reckon that anyone caught breaking the drug rules should be banned for a year, or more.
That way it will stop being on the news and Ray will have something to watch.

Here in WA the WAFL actually holds a commemorative game for Mainwarring who died of a drug overdose.
Then there's Cousins, another drug-happy icon the media won't let just die.

You can pick an intellectual out of a group, they can listen to the William Tell Overture without thinking of The Lone Ranger or Tonto ........

“The Lone Who???” 🤔
And who is “Toronto”?
I thought it was a city in Canada (also a town on Lake Macquarie in NSW).

SO!
AEMO has frozen the electricity market to stop rampant profiteering, and suppliers refusing to provide electricity because they can’t make a profit. I think the argument was “Private enterprise can always do it better than the gummint.”
Hmmmmm…

I have an idea:
What if the gummint nationalises the production of electricity?
That would remove the profit incentive, and the gummint could generate power no matter what the price of fuel is!

They could call the Victorian one the State Electricity Commission. Of course, each state has to be different. SA could call theirs the Electricity Trust of South Australia, and so on.

Maybe they could also consider nationalising gas, water and the railways…

What a great idea! I think I’ll suggest it to our Prime Minister! 😁

The big wheel keeps turning :D I have said many times, us (the government )should have what we had forty years ago ...... roads , railways, water, post, power, tramways, communications, gas, petrol and believable pollies. We don't need private enterprise taking massive profits overseas.

It was only a short time ago that Ray was pointing out how presenters were all starting their sentences with the word so (and complaining about it)

Now he is posting with the same word as a starting point !

Few possibilities !!

1 He has the disease SO SO
2 He has the dementia
3 He has the too much red

What say you Ray ?
