Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ummm…
Just before Boris Johnson resigned from the UK Prime Ministership he appointed a new Cabinet.
The Education Minister is the Rt Hon James Cleverly.
Was it his name that got him that portfolio?
🤔🤔🤔

Every day, more than 110 Americans are killed by guns and more than 200 are left injured.

That's about 20,000 deaths and 36,000 injuries so far this year.

that's nuts.
Lucky there is a lot of them over there in yank land. Does the daily birth rate cover the loss or will they have to "import" more from South of the Border.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Just did a bit of fact checking on those mind boggling statistics. In 2020 over 43,000 people died in the USA from gunshot wounds. Nearly half of those were suicide. Its kinda hard to believe. Thankfully we have more restrictions on firearm access in Australia.

Maybe he was born into a a family known to do clever things ..... there might lie an answer to the age old question, "is clever and smart the same attribute?" only time will tell I guess ....

The fact that her boobs are in front of her heart is not our fault. 😁

I thought I had retired.
Turns out I've just changed employers.
I'm now working for my wife.
