Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Safe travels Dot. xxxx

Good suggestion Keith. I am a lot sceptical of those thermos things, the thought of food poisoning is not good. My slow cooker is electrical and at times, I can see the liquids are getting a good steam up and I can get the liquid up to boil when I need to thicken it at the end of cooking. I am certain that no nasties can happen when food is getting boiled, even for a short time. Put that in the "not for me" basket Tanks. ;)

Been a bit crazy here. With the results from ct and mri scans, his lordship has been granted full health status. The few things that are still hanging on, may take a little longer to come good, but over all the docs are all happy with him now and don't want to see him again. Phew.

After a few really cold days with wet washing hanging around, I found that aldi had some heated clothes rails on special (last week of course). We tracked one down, but only on our fifth aldi store and it was the last one in that shop too. Now the sun has been weakly shining and the wind is blowing so the washing is getting dry on the line. I am sure that we will soon find out how well this thing works.

Today's mission was to get the contract for electricity renewed. They are a mob of sheisters. After a few hours doing research and talking to origin energy, I am still not happy. The best prices that can be found for us is 12cents per kilowhatevers, paid to us for our solar credits and then they expect us to pay 30 cents for any kilowhatevers we use. Highway robbery. Do not know why they keep on trying to get us to put in solar panels when the payment is just so pathetic.

With all the tripping around aldi shops, I did find some packages of meat for casserole on the special prices. When I opened it up today, I found each pack had a thick slab of beef with all the fat and gristle removed. Usually when I buy chuck steak, I remove at least a third, being fat and gristle, so this was a real bargain. It also cooked up really tender. I guess I will go back for more of that stuff.

Hi. I would love a deal like that . The best I can do is 36.8c per kWh and 5c solar feed in. Of course I live in SA and it has always been more expensive over here. Wait until they shut down all the coal fired power stations. That will be interesting.

The crew at Taggerty are in two minds about watching the big goings on in London. Jd reckons his mate Nigel is in London watching Charles getting coronated tonight.
Bit suss about it all, but NC George reckons it's a word, heard it on the ABC apparently.
Cheers

"tanks" here---with a can of worms---
In my honest opinion; I thought it most disrespectful to both Gentlemen, those being King Charles and The Rev Father Bob, that the Victorian State Funeral be held on the same day.

Then again, the lack of respect that Victorian Premier Andrews shows is to be expected from this Chinese Communist Government supporter, who lacks or does not uphold any religion, or any obligation to the Monarchy who has held office for thousands of years.
Just thinking!

I reflect that the majority of countries who have departed from the British/Commonwealth of Nations Monarchy rule and become Republics have all resulted in several revolutions and or coups and are now governed by a corrupt government.
We are surrounded with evidence of these countries from India to all around the Pacific Rim.
GOD SAVE THE KING.

We don't have to wait for any Coups or become a Republic; we have the corrupt governments already.

"tanks" here again---
I just had another thought about the cash forthe Food for England Appeal;

Perhaps OUR Country Cousens could donate some of the $85,000.00 fee they get for "Welcome to Country Ceremony" for around five white 1st Nation Fellars with white finger paint markings and wearing a bit of red cloth as a nappy to cover their private parts, plus a few very overweight ladies waving around gum leaf branches and burning smoke pots to pollute the air.

Their donation although not "sit-down-money" (they do perform for it) it would be greatly accepted and could be used to buy some Australian Lamb Roasts while they are on special, and send the roasts back to England --back to where they came from as a result the invasion, because the Invaders didn't enjoy eating burnt Kangaroo, snake or other lizards and reptiles that were available for the desert dwellers and other 1st Nation peoples.

I won't print my name in case I get into trouble for having these wild thoughts and mind flashes.
It might have something to do with thinking that I live in a Lucky Country which had a Christian Following instead of a "gib-me-gib-me-gib-me-you-owe me" culture.

Safe travels Dot and the Taggerty mob xxx

As Shirley said earlier, it's flaming cold here. It feels more like Tasmania and it's only May. BBBBRRRR Tonight, the wind is howling and I am sure there is some snow falling close by. Not good to read about your catamaran being raided Shirley. Much taken or just delinquents causing damage?

Due to drug haze, I slept in until 11 am and then was told not to rush to get out of the warm cocoon. It's been a nasty day with the cold going through your bones any time the door was opened. I soldiered on and then started on the big job of finding space in my cupboards for all of the recently bought clothes. Three big bags for the vinnies store and suddenly there is enough room for all the latest purchases
