Good suggestion Keith. I am a lot sceptical of those thermos things, the thought of food poisoning is not good. My slow cooker is electrical and at times, I can see the liquids are getting a good steam up and I can get the liquid up to boil when I need to thicken it at the end of cooking. I am certain that no nasties can happen when food is getting boiled, even for a short time. Put that in the "not for me" basket Tanks.

Been a bit crazy here. With the results from ct and mri scans, his lordship has been granted full health status. The few things that are still hanging on, may take a little longer to come good, but over all the docs are all happy with him now and don't want to see him again. Phew.
After a few really cold days with wet washing hanging around, I found that aldi had some heated clothes rails on special (last week of course). We tracked one down, but only on our fifth aldi store and it was the last one in that shop too. Now the sun has been weakly shining and the wind is blowing so the washing is getting dry on the line. I am sure that we will soon find out how well this thing works.
Today's mission was to get the contract for electricity renewed. They are a mob of sheisters. After a few hours doing research and talking to origin energy, I am still not happy. The best prices that can be found for us is 12cents per kilowhatevers, paid to us for our solar credits and then they expect us to pay 30 cents for any kilowhatevers we use. Highway robbery. Do not know why they keep on trying to get us to put in solar panels when the payment is just so pathetic.
With all the tripping around aldi shops, I did find some packages of meat for casserole on the special prices. When I opened it up today, I found each pack had a thick slab of beef with all the fat and gristle removed. Usually when I buy chuck steak, I remove at least a third, being fat and gristle, so this was a real bargain. It also cooked up really tender. I guess I will go back for more of that stuff.
sweet dreams you lot xxx
