Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bugga, missed the most obvious option, what I'm told to do
That turned out to be:
can you put the microwave from the bus in the house to replace the old one

In actual fact, the job description was:
Remove all the brackets holding the fridge in place and slide the fridge out

Remove the 8 screws from the plastic angle mounts that hold the shelf up that the microwave is mounted on

Drill out the rivets anchoring the microwave to the "L" brackets screwed into the shelf

Carry the microwave out of the bus and to the patio table

Remove the old microwave

At this point the controller of operations realised the difference in physical size

Utilising skills gathered from my past working life, I picked up a tape measure and measured the microwave and the space available ..... I guess that's just a "man" thing ;)

Yes, it will fit, but no room for fingers either side ... or even another layer of paint

After due diligence was performed with the spray bottle and cloth, it is now installed and test run making myself a cup of coffee

No doubt the previously mentioned controller will examine the bus interior and I'll be in for more pain and demands I put the fridge back in place, after I lay the required coasts of Estapol on the untreated floor section where the fridge was, then refit the shelf, then resecure the fridge ... until the replacement inverter microwave/air fryer is purchased, then the next part of the plan will be revealed .....

Morning all...n...Dot...
Still in slow mode couldn't think of anything to do so I done nothing :D
I watched Carol use the hedger on some plants she has growing along the front of the house.
I can almost call that something I done...I had to get the hedger for her. ;) ;)
Temp still in the high 30s...we seem to to get inside earlier to the aircon.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its was a rather warm night just south of Dubbo overnight. Might got down to 27° if we were lucky. The shortfalls of the old 3way fridge have finally been imparted onto the financial controller. Also, the lack of opportunity to utilise the inverter airco, cos we don't have one yet. Finally a win for me, I think.
We had a rather crappy drive yesty. Early on we had to detour around a fatal accident, then a bit later, another couple of detours to avoid some bushfires. We will push on to Mulwala today and hook up to the mains and get the airco happening. They're tipping 40+ today.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Hope you brought your long johns & jumpers as well!
We went from stinker to freezer in half a day!
No wonder people get sick with all these sudden changes!

Yesterday, after the microwave project was complete, the chore was to research inverter microwave air fryer combo units ... and the final analyse was, 50/50 split between love and hate, but the combo units were no match for individual units.
Todays chore, research suitable individual units, put them to the chief to determine which will be suitable, then maybe go and buy them ......
Yes, it's raining and cold, so jobs out of the weather get the thumbs up :D

Hmm I seem to remember there was a big shed down in the town some time ago but Oh yes it isn't there anymore. Shame as it was just the right size to work under cover.

Cruel Dottie, very cruel  It is never far out of my minds eye, any time, any weather ..... it had a lot of top gear in it as well ... but then again, we would have been working in it this time of yr and not had the funds or the time to buy this motorhome ..... but I know which I'd rather have .... Margaret doesn't agree, and it was her shed after all .... I was just allowed to work in it

That shed had some photos on the wall of some great motorcycles. Also had some great stuff inside. Oh, and some other stuff. Not gunna say junk, cos one mans trash.... you know the story. It's a bloody shame that it's gone though.

Good morning everyone, from the shores of Lake Mulwala. We arrived just after lunch yesty. It was hot enough to melt asphalt for most of the day, but it did cool off right on dark.
I hope today is a bit cooler.
It's only been about 3 months since we were here, but the weeds have taken off again. I know what I'll be doing today, I think. It's going to be corn fritters for breakfast, that's the MiL's favourite.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers
