Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Starting to look a bit more like summer down South.
Once you get the continual buzzzz of water motorbikes you know summer is here!
The water police (they call them Safety Officers) are loving the chase!
Enjoy your stay away Bernie. Can't wait to hear of what needs fixing after the trip.!

Went shopping yesterday at Total Fools in Mt Barker and bought some stuff for the welder .... a trolley, stainless and mild steel rods as well as aluminium rods for the tig part, a roll of tri-steel wire for the mig part, and a bottle of the two gas types needed. I'll wait till I'm a bit more skilled with the tig until I buy the brazing rods ..... using an electric arc in place of an oxy flame sounds fairly straight forward, but I doubt it will be that easy ......
Today will be another toy assembly day, the welding trolley is a flat pack, just hoping it isn't Ikea inspired
The reason for the trip originally was to buy a steel rule and vernier callipers to mark out the aluminium end plates for the sodium ion battery testing ...... $1100 later ... we were back home and I was nursing a killer headache, so off to bed for a few hrs, all that spending money combined with a headache really drained the energy out of me

Good morning all. Went to Portland yesterday, on the way we saw on the road (dead) 1 emu, 2 roos and a baby fox BUT did see a live koala up a tree. Did the op shops and I bought a Bombers beanie and a plastic jug woo hoo. Heading home tomorrow, might take a couple of days though. Got interesting goss on the old V8's and Van Gizzy. Seems I was wrong on thinking Mr Scafe was a nice person.

Very late good morning from me. My good morning post looks like I vaporised it.
Just got back from taking my daughter to the airport. Holiday weekend traffic sucks, doesn't it.
Wasted a bit of bait yesty then went out for pizza last night with some of the family.
Having a rest arvo now. Nothing much planned except we need to prepare the Winny for another trip south next week.
Don't believe everything you hear about celebrities Dot, almost everyone has a back story.
Safe travels all those out and about.

Good morning everyone. Looks like another overcast and drizzly day for us again. We have a bit more packing and cleaning to do, before we head south again.
It's bacon and egg day so that's got to be a good thing.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Had a friend from over Lake Illawarra way turn up in her campervan yesterday afternoon .... after I felt I'd done enough on the welder trolley mods for one day, in for a shower, cook the pork roast and potatoes and pumpkin in the air fryer for dinner, then continued with the steaks :? A tad seedy this morning, but once I've mastered the stability issues (mine) I'll attempt my first welding job with the new welder .... the trolley for it to live on

Yesterday was hot and humid with rain practically all day, today it's sunny and double the humidity :(

Morning all. I think we may leave for home today ?? Very humid but the sound of the waves breaking is worth it. Take care on the roads.

Good morning everyone. Its been raining steadily overnight, 20mm since midnight. A lot of friends and family down in Vic have had at least triple that. Looks like we are driving south to more flooding again.
There is a 50 tonne crane and a wood chipper crew cutting a tree off the back of a house in the next street. It's been there since Christmas night. Insurance companies aren't as efficient as the SES or the neighbours. Due process, I think is what they call it.
We are just doing the packing and loading thing today.
Safe travels all those on the roads. If it's flooded, forget it, as the saying goes.
Cheers
