Good morning from a bright and sunny Taggerty.
Terry and Marg rolled in just after 7.00 pm last night. They had an uneventful trip finally.
Vic won the men's cook off, Alan came second. It's becoming a habit , but the tucker was pretty good this year.
John and Pat popped in for a day trip. Everyone looks pretty good this year.
Enjoy your bacon and eggs Bernie.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Good morning daily

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning, having a warm drink listening to the rain, it’s been constant since early last night, heavy at the moment.
I’m off to Bunnings later today to change a heavy duty gate hinge for the 3rd time, 1st one looked ok but had to be welded on, 2nd one the sales bloke sold me after looking at my broken hinge is for a timber gate, I need a hinge similar for a metal gate, hopefully I can find the correct one this time.
Travel safely everyone leaving Taggerty today.

Good morning.
Your a early bid Shirley...but for a good cause (Bunnings)
We had no rain yesterday but was overcast...temp here at the moment is 19.4* here being were I'm sitting posting.
I have a bit of a story...I read if you plant a peach seed in compost and put it somewhere cool it will germinate...somewhere being in my beer fridge
anyhoo...it's been there for several months...and it has germinated about 6 inches of plant sticking up.
Will be interesting to see if it will survive once I plant it out into a pot?
No beer was harmed during this experiment.
Carol of to bingo today with her mates...
Keep safe .
Bernie.

Good morning for a 2nd time
16c still raining, completely overcast, maximum predicted 21c, the lake is high & more rain predicted.
The trip to Bunnings is postponed, I’m not going out in the rain when not necessary & the gate can’t be repaired while it’s raining.

Re: Good morning daily
Real late good morning from me. We are safely back in Mulwala now. I hope all our fellow Taggerty weekenders get home safe and sound, or to wherever tonight finds them.
It has been a magnificent weekend weather wise for all of us that attended. Perfect blue sky this morning.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Jon and his family for once again, hosting us for a great weekend.
It was great to meet some new friends and catch up with some old ones. We all had a yack around the fire and exchanged ideas, stories and even a few recipes.
I hope to see everyone again next year. Thanks again Jon.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Glad to hear that all went well at Taggerty. We were committed to stay in Ballarat to catch up with the youngest daughter and the eldest who trained up from Melbourne on Sunday for our first face to face in 4 years. She is my baby and turning 50 in June, which makes me feel ancient!
We are still waiting for the windscreen replacement to happen. Ballarat Auto Glass have it in train but the original Iveco windscreen has to come from Sydney. We are told it is on the way. We will move to a donation camp while we await the phone call. 3 days in one and 3 days in another. Hopefully that will see the end of it.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning all.
18* here this AM, winter approaching
I had yesterday off...started the chainsaw and made a cuppla deferent size wooden ramps for the motorhome...took longer to start the saw than the job
so I didn't really have the day off. But that was about it for the day.
Bit of sad news mate around the corner that I gave some assistants regarding his tiny house...had a stroke...he fell from the steps to his house, and was unable to get up till another neighbor found him and called the ambulance...he's ok...but a bit worrying.
Don't know what I'm doing today...haven't got my order's yet
No little critters on yesterdays walk...but today I'm going to where the Brolga's hang out.
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
