When I had my trailer for carrying a car I put 14" LT (light truck) tyres on it. 10ply.
I see the label says 13" so maybe you'll need to look for 13" LT ones?
Being 13" maybe the hubs / rims are early Holden?
Maybe check out what a new 14" Ford axle/hub set might cost? Bigger bearings for a start.
A lot of those older 13" hubs had wheel barrow bearings in them! lol

Re: Good morning daily
Went in Tuesday for my second right knee replacement, had both knees replaced 13 years ago. After my right hip replacement in October 2014 the cement holding the knee joint gave way and the knee pin became loose. So every time I walked it was moving up and down as well as turning in the bone. This was causing some extreme pain and the knee was swelling.
By the time it was scanned and checked the first available theatre was on the 28/01 25. Operation went well .Dr Surprised how loose it was in the bone. Took out the joints and cleaned out the bone then sent samples to lab to check if any any infection. All clean so new ones install ok.
Will be seeing him again today. Physio had me standing up in a frame but no weight on right leg. Will begin walking today. Used a new style joint he now uses. Xray Photo attached. Having a scan this afternoon and will update. Cheers Robert

RnB, I'm glad for you that the new knee is done. I hope your recovery is short, sweet and complete.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
Did they replace both halves of the joint RnB? That looks like a big gap between the two halves, I wonder how they keep the side to side movement stable?

Re: Good morning daily
Went to the local ED yesterday afternoon to get the foot check out. Gave the male nurse a few laughs about sterile toilet paper and tape bandage, the tetanus shot is so much smaller these days and just in the arm, not the horse needle in the thigh muscle I remember from days gone by .... but maybe they were p e n i c i l l i n shots .....
Apparently there were 3 nails, cause there are 3 holes, one a lot smaller than the other two, I doubt I'll be climbing and ladders for a while but at least I can sort of walk now .....

Don't believe everything you read Jon...it has 14" rims on the trailer...jon_d wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 7:40 amBernie,
Might be wise to do some research on the tyres fitted and placarded.
I am fairly sure that 13x55 4 ply won't support 1000kgs. (ie 2000 kgs total)
A quick check eg https://www.huntsmanproducts.com.au/col ... truck-tyre
shows these at 8 ply and are only rated to 600kg each.

Margaret's seems to date back to using one of those gel heal socks to fix cracked heals ..... but that might have been a misdiagnosis of the actual problem so it dates back even further .....
Found the piece of wood with the nails in it The worrying bit is the third nail is broken off ..... but I don't think it's still in the foot, doesn't hurt enough for that ....

Re: Good morning daily
My cousin, when he was a boy stood on a pin.
Didn't really know it was there.
Eventually had to have surgery to remove it......
no MRI's.... unless you want the nail ripping itself through your organs, one scan at a time.
If you're worried, get an x-ray.
