Just over $1,000 with the 5% discount, but I generally get better pricing than that with my contacts in the trade ......
Why are you using chrome liners, I thought that technology went out with button up shoes ..... Moto Guzi and '60 era Rovers were the last manufacturers I can remember that had chrome bores
These days, the rings are chrome edged and the liners steel, the cast iron ring required for running in chrome bores wear too rapidly and have a tendency to shatter under high load.
The gapless rings we ran in the high boost pressure turbo engines used a chrome edged oil scrapper ring located in a step machined into the lower side of the second ring to stop piston blow by melting a path down the side of the piston, they were cast rings, but the top compression ring were high tensile ductile iron with a moly inlay and chromium coating and oil scrapper rings were stainless with a chromium coating ..... you can't run anything like that in chrome bores ...... chrome on chrome seizes, destroying both the bore and the pistons
