Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Good morning everyone.
It's raining.. yippee I won't have to hose the garden today.
I went around to a neighbour's place for a bit yesterday, he was selling one of his Royal Enfield motorbikes and just needed some backup...he did sell it..
Carol is improving each day, even had a go with the crutches as apposed to the wheely walker... but it hurt her wrists...
Still to cool to finish staining the last of the benches.and looks like too wet today..
And I'm cooking bacon and eggs for two today
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
We might need a bit more info there Jon. I already know the ATO are idiots though. My idiot BiL worked there for some time.
Oh Dave, Nigel is so disappointed. Detention for you and Dot. Study it carefully and spot all the errors.
Morning all,
Good progress on the head. Exhaust side pretty well finished. Valve gapped. Inlet side today.
Had a possible disaster thou. I replaced 5 questionable exhaust studs. However another one broke when torquing up. Right at the front in a tight spot. Managed to get it out quite easily after a night of thinking about the approach. Centre punched, drilled, blast of heat, squirt of Lanox, tap in a torqx bit and voila.

G'day everyone. No rain here. Bit fresh though.
Not much to report.
Was fluffing about on YouTube and found a vid on hybrid campers. The link is for a Hyundai. Honda also have one, but I can't get the link up.
Maybe we might see some in Australia in the next year or so.
I hope everybody is having g a good day today.
Jon, when you first put that ATO post up, it wouldn't enlarge.
I reckon the spelling police should get a job teaching the Nigerians how to spell correctly and use reasonable grammar.

I also mislaid my glasses but now I see Australia Tax 0ffice. 100 lines of "I must not lose my glasses again" done.
Good arvo everyone, watched the BOB's last night. All Blacks also cheered me up Blue skies no wind nor rain but cool enough for jumpers.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
Good morning.
Another not much done day ... but I did get to cook a. Roast in the new stove/oven... I'll be glad when herself is up to doing the cooking ... especially as the kitchen is in two places at the moment... I'll be glader when it's finished and in one spot
We only got 6 mm in the gauge yesterday.. most of the rain was more to the east of us...
Weather on the phone sez it's 5 degrees outside... but it's not correct...it's 17 inside without the fire on...I can't see the sky yet to see if it's cloudy or not...
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Those Nigerians also need to employ a proofreader.
“Australia Tax Office” on the next line becomes “Australian Tax Authority”.
Never mind the fact that its official title is “Australian Taxation Office”…
Woke to heavy fog this morning. Still hasn’t lifted.
Early medical appointment for SWMBO. On the drive over we have an intersection with three sets of rumble strips. From the first set, we couldn’t see the next set.
Regards & God bless,

Today is the birthday girls actual birthday, these 3 day birthdays are taxing on time available for doing other stuff. Actually got the blind up on my computer table window after it fell off during our trip so far. Actually put bolts through the top part of the blind and through the cupboard, rather than just the clips that held it up before, so that should stop the thing falling off for a while
Today, maybe get a power point fitted near the dinner table, so I don't keep tripping Margaret's computer power cord stretched across the kitchen walkway.
I have to reposition the Winnie further forward so the dump hose reaches the "IO" point at Jenni's house so I can empty the tanks before I start on the coil replacement.
