The gas tanks are out and now at the testing station in Adelaide ..... the first one said leave a message, we turned up there and a bloke who was remodelling the workshops told us the testing mob had been gone for more than 6 mths .....
Directed us to another testing station that said they were only open Tuesdays .... FFS, it was Monday and now around 5pm ..... tried the phone numbers, got yet another "leave a message" but we were outside the gates .... so I used the gates next door to get into the compound ..... every size cyl that stands up you can think of were stacked around this place, a door was open so a Hello got a rather angry response from a lady working there, mighty pissed off that she was left doing all the work .... but she helped me unload the two gas tanks and said in a week ..... I thought that was fair, she was testing around 30 scuba diving tanks at that point.
Heading home, around an hr later, get a phone call from the bloke I left the message with .... but I'd left so many messages at so many places, it was a case of narrowing down just which place it was .... turned out to be the place I'd already dropped the tanks off at .... no wonder she was pissed off ..... management seemed to be non existent ......
The replacement steps arrived today, so did the inverter replacement job, so the steps will have to wait a few days .....
