Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good to be home. Lawn mower won't start.

Not "suspect" Terry. Just worn with some unwanted backlash.
It's been the same since I got it, which is 46,000ks ago.
Did the kids recognise you Jon... been away for a bit 😁

It's Wednesday again, so I am getting ready to do nuffin again.
I went to Northam yesterday for a shopping trip to purchase all the items that I don't need. It was a good day out from the usual, and I enjoyed the outing .
Today's temperature is showing 8 to 24 degrees.

arrived at Walget after leaving Bourke this afternoon. Going to spend a few days here and then head home. Bus is going ok, however, the diff gets angry at the end of each day. I don't want really piss it off with some long hours heading further north.
So, the diagnosis is just backlash now, 12 mths does wonders for these problems, maybe my cyl 1 low compression might repair itself, and the water pump, but I kinda doubt my luck on that one

Yes, isn't that magical. I guess the Diff Gods are smiling. The backlash has always been there... maybe that is part of the angryness or not.

Anyway, I'll get it done. Hopefully to a schedule and then good to go. Probably start in Feb after the xmas holiday/trip.

Morning all.

Low 30's today. Yippee, summer is coming.

Mower still wont start. Lucas is mow while I was away, it was really smokey when he finished. New rings are ordered. The bore has an oval shape. Maybe time for another Victa hard rubbish search.

It's on an aluminium deck and the best, none of the pressed tin rusty deck issues.

Aldi is advertising mowers for $199 on special for Saturday.

Good morning all, 18* with 29* forecast.
FG repairer didn't turn up until 10am and left at 2pm, returning today sometime.

Jon. I see your point about 'rusty tin' but I wore a hole through my old alum one. Admittedly a lot of sand got sucked up & blasted it! Benefits of living on a sandy coastal strip I guess!
Might be the old "buy best, buy once" so if you can't find any roadside treasures you should look at the 'self propelled' Honda walk behind mowers. Age catches up with all of us eventually!!
A little chilly up in Nth Qld this AM. Only 24 yet.
Today I have a visitor coming to discuss SOLAR BATTERIES & all/any Fed Gov rebate avail.
I think it's only 78 more days it'll be available. (30% of cost)
First question will be "is the rebate avail without VPP"?
https://www.google.com/search?q=VPP+rea ... e&ie=UTF-8
Hate to think the 'company' suck me dry when they want it & then I have none for a blackout!

Good morning everyone, it's already reached our forecast max of 25⁰ today. Copy and paste of past few days expected, with no rain.
I'm off to have lunch with a couple of my old workmates today. We'll have a few laughs and tell a few tall stories I reckon.
Good luck with finding old reusable lawnmower bits Jon. I think B&S went downhill when the went to aluminium bores.
George, I hope your repairer turns up again.
Not much else to report yet.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
