Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Naughty boy!
Your mother should take your phone off of you David!
Early morning for me as I prepare for battle with Hank Youngan's mob! (Centrelink)
I've got a plan to outsmart them.
Can you do that? Probably not.

It wasn't my phone Bruce. It would have been the Murdoch owned papers and news services that enlightened me. I used to get the newspaper every day til the grubs stopped paying for comic strips. Or trivia every Monday up at the footy club.

Bruce, I hope you have sorted out the numby's at Centrelink.
Cheers

Strangely enough, I did just use my phone to google who Hank Youngan's (Jongens) was. Never heard of him, until today.
The head of Services Australia.
While I was heading down that rabbit hole I was informed that Anthony Albanese has never had a real job, apparently.

Not surprised really. But it begs the question, who was the last Australian PM to have held a position away from politics or the Unions, prior to getting the big gig?
Bonus point for the one before that as well. Make that double bonus point.
Cheers

David I was referring to what time it was when you posted!!!
I won't say much about who held real jobs but you'd probably need to look at the other 'side' to find one.
Yes I had a really big win at Centrelink & got one of the most polite & understanding girls I could wish for.
I get to keep full pension even tho I exceeded the limit by a large margin.
Anyone interested should Google & research ' granny flat centrelink' or similar. & no you don't need a Granny flat either to be eligible.

I am glad you got a good deal from Centrelink. We can't even get a part pension.
Most nights I wake up sometime between 2 and 4am. And if I'm very lucky I go back to sleep around 5am or so. Otherwise I get up and go for a walk.
Cheers

That's when you should start ringing Centrelink. Never waste an opportunity.

Great idea Jon!
You might even get lucky and have a human pick up your call just after 0900!!
Although, you would have to listen to their crappy ‘chewing gum for the ears’ for more hours than a sane person could possibly stand…
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Nah, they have no desire to talk to me. And vice versa.

Nah, it probably just reminded her to rearrange things. A fella named John Holt wrote that song back in the 60's.
