Some time ago we had someone on this forum that was heavily involved in the study of ancient earth rocks etc
Are they still here?
I've come across a lot of petrified timber etc.
It is wonderful the grain & various colours of samples.
Was it Julian?
I've been wondering if it can be cut with a diamond saw & polished?
Interested in rocks, granite, quartz etc

Are you looking at finding big pieces, slicing it up and making bench tops and coffee tables ..... The dovetail joints would require a special set of skillsBruceS wrote: ↑Thu Nov 27, 2025 11:45 am Some time ago we had someone on this forum that was heavily involved in the study of ancient earth rocks etc

A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows
