Countdown :: Dapope Hits The Road 13th July 2013

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here-- The "POPE-MOBILE" is about to get mobile--only a few big sleeps to go and "Da-Pope" will be on the road. Have a good trip and head for the warm weather.
Last night at KATHERINE N.T. it was down to 16 degrees and an expected 29 degrees today.
I moved out early this morning and I am now at #142 - BRIDGE CREEK r/v stop. It is very nice here.
I suggest that you have a look at "40 mile Beach Camp" which is around 70 km South of KARRATHA. You can Google it and get details, but Day rate is $7.00, Weekly is $40.00, and MONTHLY is $135.00
Again, have a great time, and I may see you on the road somewhere.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Thanks Keith, yes 40 mile beach camp is on the list, we got stuck there a couple of years ago. I dont want to repeat that! Bucketed down here yesterday, we still have a leak! Good its not in my wardrobe though. Tipped the swaggie with the jacks, temporary fix.

Gee Martin your lucky with only one leak we have 4 and that's the ones we know about   But seriously leaks are not fun. hope you get it sorted ... Not to many sleeps now have fun when you hit the road.. Bucketed down all day yesterday in Alice Springs also..

Cheers Ros.

Found some sealer in a can that you paint on at Camec. Summer job will be to take all the solar off, clean it up and paint with the sealer. Its not a big leak, the worst ones have been sorted now

Bunnings have a tape that looks like the same as Caravans Plus sell. Just saw the add for it in the Sika add latest Wanderer, page 107. Sika Multi Seal, highly flexible butyl rubber sealing tape.
