We did the flight today. So worth the $$. The plane is better value than the chopper.
Planning for Wolf Creek tomorrow. Still trying to find a fresh lot of hitch hikers.

So, we went to the Wolfe Creek crater, and overnighted before driving back to Marys Pool. What did we learn?
Empty the black tank if its more than half full if you are going on rough gravel roads. Swagman motorhomes are nowhere near dustproof... Big cleanup job. Lowering tire pressures does improve the ride. Tanami highway is best to be done just after its been graded, the bloke was working on it, and the bit he had done was niiiice
The swagman will drift nicely on big sweeping bends, but on the bumpier stuff I thought I was going to be seasick!
Next stop Broome for fuel, and some pipe to fix the broken bit of greywater system. My taped repair is not waterproof.
Cleaverville for a night or two

Why do you make that statement about the black tank and the rough roads?? doesn't effect us because we don't have one, just interested.
You should be just about finished dusting by now.

Dot, lets just say the contents got a good slopping around. Somewhere there is a breather.......the smell got sucked back in, along with the dust. Been about 10 days since we emptied, so was a bit too full for a rough ride. You will eventually do the same with the cassette.
Dusting all done, lost my red rinse in the shower

Sounds like the breather end needs to be way up high on the tank and way up high on the roof.

No powered sites here Dot. No kiddie castles pool, tv room etc. It is pet friendly too. Plenty of space on the sites too.
