Been interesting to follow your trip, thanks for the updates. Hopefully you will do it again. Need a bit of inspiration from time to time. Sometimes building gets a bit boring but reading of others exploits gives you a bit of a boost.

When we get back, will put up pix in the photo album section. Barn Hill Sunday Roast is a must if you are up this way(about100k out of Broome) 22 a night for a generator site, looks out to the beach, fishing available. Powered sites are limited to 4 amps per site as thats all the station generator can bang out. There must be 200 or more stopping here, many are frequent flyers and i can see why. We will be back. Dirk, glad you have enjoyed my waffles, keep going, must be your turn soon

Day 2 @ BarnHill station. Nice n relaxing. Other half got out the sewing machine and finished the end for the awning, few bits of hemming to do etc but it works to provide shade from the glare, and outside can be a more pleasant experience. Fixed a few bits. Tomorrow, off to degrey river again for an overnighter(500km run) then to Cleaverville for a few nights

Sorry Dot, I took T-1's advise and I now have an electric heater that the 1.5 kva generator can handle; I'm now "On Heat" so to speak.

I will look up the NANANGO Qld site but I don't think that I will make it in time. My Sister is talking about the GYMPIE MUSTER for a few days with music and lots of people. Cairns sounds more attractive to me.

I am still at Duaranga and heading to Rockhampton tomorrow. I had the mobile mechanic call on me and change the oil and oil filter yesterday, so it's hit the road again and find "Russell" some more trees.
