Solar controller

Post by TigerMK1 »

I am thinking of fitting a single panel to my 4wd toad. I have bought a small fridge for it and was thinking of fitting a second battery and a panel. What is a basic reliable controller for a single panel.?

I have a 10 amp one here I pulled off one of the portable panels. I'll stick it in post bag for you in the morning if you PM me an address. A deposit on the bikes ;)

Thank's Terry. arrived today. Now I got to find the time to get to the Beenleeh markets. There is a chap there that has used batteries, I don;t know where from but they include deep cycle etc for $50 or so. I think he sources them from wrecked vehicles. :D

Maybe they source them from motorhomes that are in the parking lot and their owners are looking for cheap batteries ;)
Ask them over on the CF, they seem to think used AGM batteries are a sellable item
