Eddie said: Am having my first Kiwi beer - Monteath's Original Ale, not real bad.
Enjoy that beer Eddie, it is one of the best, but a localised drop and we found it damn hard to find as you travel around.

G'day all youse Ozzies,
Well, have been here 6 days already and am almost ready to hut the road. If BernieQ ever tells you anything, don't believe hum. He told me that I'd find A ravishing Maori prunciss to clean and cook for me amongst her other duties. All I've seen so far, are some bloody bug hiffers - crikey!!!
Have been busy last cupla days buying solar panels, food, crockery, joining AA (no Bernard, the motoring mob) etc and have just signed up with NZ's Telecom for my wireless broadband - hope they're better that our (Oz) twats.
I am pleasantly surprised at the "go' in the little Mitsy - the rig is bloody good value. Probably going to head to SI in a cupla days. Am currently in Napier.

Hi Eddie,
If you're thinking of heading to the SI, book yourself on Bluebridge. Since you're now a NZMCA member go online through the NZMCA website and book using the codeword shown to get a substantial discount on the fare.
Glad to hear the Mitsi is going well.
Take care and let us know where you are from time to time. We're currently in Greymouth and plan to be in Canterbury next week. Heading down to Mosgiel for the National Rally over Easter.
