Geez Bernie, I posted one of me freezing me nuts off wearing a beanie and scarf. I refuse to share myself too much!
I love these one lane bridges in NZ - a touch of their quirkiness.
We're in Haast overnight and off to Wanaka (again) tomorrow.

Glad to hear that you like our single lane bridges Eddie. You must have really loved the one near Hokitika which also has the railway line on it.
With luck the scenery should be better for you this time as there should be more snow around. Enjoy your travels and don't enthuse too much here or our roads and camping spots will become clogged up with other Aussies trying to follow you!

Re: We lost Eddie
Eddie, you must be a tough bloke or have some issues to willingly spend the coldest part of our winter in the coldest part of our beautiful country. You should be soaking (literally) up the relative warmth of Hawke's Bay, Gisborne, Bay of Plenty and The Coromandel at this time of the year. South Island is idyllic Feb - May.
Cheers Chris
