Who do I send the bill to, it was my Mazda I was working on when it happened. A look at the accident scene this morning it appears the cutting disc must have jammed and shattered and it was the reinforcing fibre bits sticking out of the blade that did the damage, that is why the hole was so wide but not cut through the bone. The wound site is only along the knuckle of the index finger where it joins the hand, what looked like a cut through the webbing between the fingers was actually the slab of flesh torn out of the knuckle. The doctor must have been economising with the amount of thread used as it looks more like the stitching back in the hand sown chaff bag days
