Re: Dot & Georges .
Dot, I would suggest that the tension on the belt in the pic is satisfactory. It certainly looks like Gman is pressing hard enough.

Now lift the belt, it's the total distance from all the way up to all the way down, to mee they look like they need a bit of adjustment still as that is not a very long run between the 2 pulleys but you can still get that much movement.Dot wrote:Top pic is the subject belts
Lower pic is G pressing down and with the VC it showed 10mm that is the same thickness of both the belts.
(I also did the press test and got the same reading)

OK have done the up pull and of course the down push with mod - strong pressure and the tolerances seem to be within the limits prov the 10-15 was mm

If you keep talking about this 10-15mm then eventually poor old G-man is gonna get quite a complex.

You have no idea of the starting point Chuckie, it might be that's all the blood the skinny bugger has available so 10mm to 15mm flex is as solid as he can get the flag pole over such a lengthChuck wrote:If you keep talking about this 10-15mm then eventually poor old G-man is gonna get quite a complex.![]()

Re: Dot & Georges .
I asked Wendy if you had the same hitch but she wasn't sure. They certainly made short work of hitching up their car.
