Thanks for that, much appreciated :D
Do you have some favourite camp spots? In that area, you can recommend? (pref freecamp)

Warooka look like they have 3 spots. At least 2 are free it says.
Be a good base for 5 or 6 day trips in all directions.
Lot of history in that area.
Old copper mines etc.
Hot N wind at Warooka comes across the sea.........
I wouldn't worry about the 11m limit as I've noticed a lot of those really mean over 11m.

And I thought putting up with summer heat living in NQ was worth it for the glorious winter weather. It is way cooler up here than down south!!! Lately its been ranging from 23 to 31!!!

I think I would rather have the humidity over bush fires though

Especially when you have stupid neighbours that don't believe in mowers and the councils are too stupid to enforce rules. Have already had one fire next door, the twat had lit a fire over an ants nest, I saw him through the window so called the fire brigade,,

Head for Point Lowly just east of Whyalla, or Cowell, 100km south. Great oysters at Cowell, and a free M/h park near town (was free 2 years ago).
Cowell oysters are IMHO streets ahead of the Coffin Bay variety. :P
If you insist on following the Murray, definitely do not camp at Purnong next to the river if it looks like rain. We spent three days bogged there.
Townspeople were great, but we were still bogged.
Regards & God bless,
Ray
