I've recently moved to Selleys Armourflex, simply because it's easier to get and doesn't require and special primer when used with Lexan thermoclear that we use

The Data that I found for Armourflex said that it has a service temperature of -30 to 70 degrees which is much the same as sika so it will be interesting to see how it performs

Do you have a link? The info I found said in excess of 100*C, the same as Simson 70-03 and both are silyl modified polymers

NOTICE: bonding
plastics like PMMA (e.g. Plexi® glass),
polycarbonate (e.g. Makrolon® or Lexan®) in
stress loaded applications can give rise to
stress cracking and crazing in these
substrates. The use of T-Rex Crystal is not
recommended in these applications.
That makes it unsuitable for purpose in our case, the Simson 70-03 is a great product but you do need to use the primer as well on many substrates. I'll have to do the 2 pieces of aluminium sheet in tension and heat gun test to see just what happens at plus 70*C, I know Sika 11FC just peels apart when heated above 60*C, had a thin film semi flexible panel lift off after 3 weeks and the thin film roll up panels on the Kombi poptop are only still on there because they haven't blown off yet, they have lifted all the way around the edges.
