Hi Keith I found my Dads badge I mentioned , He was in the 2/3rd anti-tank in the second world war, captured in Africa by Rommel's tank regiment .

Safe trip, keep us up with your travels, ie rest stops etc (free) When in C.Pedy go to the hardware shop and ask if a guy by the name of Paul is still the owner?? if he is tell him we shall see him in a couple of mths

Thanks Keith I don't know how or why Dad had it , thought it was part of his regiment way back then .
Still a good memory of him . I also have his medals and colour's , Grand daughter wore them in a ANZAC day march with her school in Maryborough ,

My auntie had all my Pa's medals and war memorabilia, but she drank them all (pawned them for drink), so all lost to us now.
I do remember them though as a little fella.
Chris is doing a lot of the ancestry stuff too now, would've been great to have in the books she's doing up.
