Thanks Dot .
This post is for "Tanks" so look away .
Hi Keith I found my Dads badge I mentioned , He was in the 2/3rd anti-tank in the second world war, captured in Africa by Rommel's tank regiment .
Here's a pic of the badge (much the same as yours)

You'll hear from me next from Coober Pedy or Marla, depending on how well we're travelling.

"tanks" here ---B/Q,
That is the badge of the 1st Armoured Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

My auntie had all my Pa's medals and war memorabilia, but she drank them all (pawned them for drink), so all lost to us now.
I do remember them though as a little fella.
Chris is doing a lot of the ancestry stuff too now, would've been great to have in the books she's doing up.

Cheers,
Bernie B... I never had to add the B either till I found so many Bernie's on here ;)
