Ok let’s say I wanted to take all my solar and battery system out of the van and put it in a boat. What changes would I have to make .
Mine is legal so it has all the rite safety switches

Re: Van to boat
Depends on the type of boat and then decide exactly what you want/need to power off the solar/battery system.
In my case the boat came with 12v powering all lights plus helm devices. (depth sounder, radios etc)
I decided to leave them as they were & just use the new solar/battery setup to power all 240V power points. (which previously were generator or shore powered.)
If it was on a 'being built' boat it'd be better going all powered by battery/inverter.

Funny how people jump to conclusions . Those that don’t know me that is . And yes I do have a boat I Was talking to a guy last night discussing inverter power in a boat and the easiest way to ask was take it out of the van and put it in a boat .
No dot lost my boat bug when we had $50,000 drag boat break up .
