Another way is to mount the panels in groups that can be swung up from either end to access under the panels. Can you recognise who this is, there is a clue in the photo title. You can see the panels connected in both parallel and series, 12v panels on a 24v system.

Some good ideas there, i like both the channel walkway (great for cabling) and the lift up arrangement.
I'll have to think on it some more.

I have a curved roof.
The Panels are mounted on ally RHS tube, I used ally angle on the centre line and hinges on the outside line.
I can swing the panels up to clean the roof, but the main reason for using hinges was to get the exact angle between the RHS and the panel. This allows a clean rivet to the panel.
You can also see how the RHS is angled and glue to the roof.
Bernie, I have 6 x 200 watt house panels too. I run two strings of three paralleled.
My solar voltage is up to 120 volts with a max solar current of about 12 amps. The MPPT controller does all the conversions. I have a 24 volt set up into AGM's.

Yeah mine is an old style curved roof also.
I'll have to play around with my layout again and see about hinged panels.
While the panels I got are really good, they don't layout on the roof between hatches etc all the well.
I've only done rough measurements though, so I'll have to get up and do it properly.

Bernie,
To get the exact right angles, I cut pieces of 35x90 mine to the exact panel width.
Then I could glue everything in situ with the pine patterns.
Remove the pine and slip in the panel.
Working out the pattern is difficult. I had to get over scuppers. And didn't allow enough room for a 4 seasons hatch.
