noisy inverter RF

Post by bagmaker »

Anyone got a fix for interference (AM radio mostly) caused by the inverter?

If it's 'approved' for use in Australia it shouldn't create RFI but we all know ..............

AM radio will be difficult.

Try a few clip on ferrite suppressors on all the power leads.
They are needed on ALL leads as close as possible to the inverter.

Jaycar LF1290 or similar.
(They are cheaper from ebay.)
