Thanks George shall give that a try.
Don't remember whether it was Ktel or whom, but I had one of those bottle cutter kits. Not just for bottoms, as I removed the top off many a beer bottle. Amazing to see just how cheaply made the beer bottles are too, with the thickness varying heaps. Gave up doing that as the bottles as drink tumblers had a very short shelf life do to their lack of quality. Saved lots on glassware at $nil for the glass if you didn't count my $1.50/hour labour which made the tumbler = $5.00 each.dream4red wrote:... I remember back in the good ol days that Ktel (remember them?) used to flog a kit specially to cut off the bottom of wine bottles.
Try this one maybe?flexitdriver wrote:[ Also does anyone know how to cut the bottom off a wine bottle?
