A friend of a friend did a screen with coloured bottles, she had a hole drilled in the bottom of the bottle and threaded a rod through them, the picture looked fantastic with the light shining through.. K tel OMG are you that old as well?

Thanks George shall give that a try.

Did you try hitting someone over the head with the bottle? Seems to work in King Street!

Don't remember whether it was Ktel or whom, but I had one of those bottle cutter kits. Not just for bottoms, as I removed the top off many a beer bottle. Amazing to see just how cheaply made the beer bottles are too, with the thickness varying heaps. Gave up doing that as the bottles as drink tumblers had a very short shelf life do to their lack of quality. Saved lots on glassware at $nil for the glass if you didn't count my $1.50/hour labour which made the tumbler = $5.00 each.

dawg (ahh, memories - at least I can say I dunnit)

Well have been cleaning out kitchen cupboards now that's a fun job NOT :? decided I needed a break so thought I would place a few items on ebay buy using my new toy the " iPad " first couple went really well then not sure what I did but now my text is so big I can only see about 5 words to a page tried going into settings changed the text size nothing happened, I was in the middle of typing when the change happened so maybe a finger went amiss and I pressed a wrong button somehow,  so until my personal tech person (darling son) arrives its looks like I am back to the kitchen cupboards :x so much for this modern technology stuff, think the brain is in overload.. Hope everyone is having a good day

Cheers Ros.

No Dot I wear them out   have a few pairs of shoes that I thought were a good idea at the time but really don't suit my feet or lifestyle anymore so thought I would see if I can get a dollar or two for them, I have only worn them a couple of times so like new, then I have a few clothes also purchased thinking that I might just bet the battle of the bulge but sadly NO  some still have the tags on them..(PS. Don't tell the BOSS :o ) I used to sell heaps on Ebay but have not done so for a while.

Cheers Ros.
