Muggy day, 2.7mm rain over night and today strong NE winds so no surfing or bike riding as the wind speeds have got over 45kph so far and the forecast is for 20-40mm tonight, with trees dropping dead branches already and don't want to come in contact with any of those even small ones whilst riding. But they are wrong lots of the time about rainfall where I live, forecasting rain but nothing comes, then saying it won't rain and it pours all day. It's the constant night rain and morning misty rain and fog which is intriguing, but it's in accordance with what's happening to climate and warming.
The theory goes as we live on the edge of the southern ocean and it's warming up quiet fast, leading to more evaporation. When the heavily water laden air hits sth Tas and the warm rising currents coming off the land, the rain condenses and drops down as misty rain and fog. The other morning we had a huge sea fog, which dropped visibility down to around 10m and was so wet, was saturated by the time I jogged to the gate, Bindi hates getting wet and dropped her business and headed back inside before going very far and stood on the veranda with a big smile on her face when I got back looking rather drowned. At least can finish clearing out the workshop and get the bike and side car inside so can put them together. If anyone interested, can post some photos of the operation, which should be interesting as have never done it before, but owned 2 outfits. So will be relying on side car forums and youtube for help, tuning it will be the hardest bit expect, but may be lucky and get it first time.
